Figure Lengend Snippet: Rats were trained to self-administer intravenous cocaine using an IVSA paradigm with both S+ and S- visual discrimination cues. Each rat was separately implanted with a microdialysis probe aimed at the prelimbic (left) and infralimbic (right) cortex and collected every 15 minutes during pre-session baseline (-45 to 0 min), introduction of the cue (0 to 30 min), and introduction of the cue-lever (30 to 120 min). Microdialysis samples were analyzed UPLC-MSMS for levels of 13 neurotransmitters and showed significant interaction effect (group x time) following two way RM-ANOVA between S+ and S- in the prelimbic cortex for (A,B) GLU, (C,D) 5-HT, (E,F) TAU, and (G,H) ADO.
